What is a Personal Answering Service?

In the old days, a personal answering service is a basically an answering machine attached to a traditional/standard phone. You know, the ones that has a tape recorder. And then the technology continued to advance and got more progressive.

Today, you don’t have to be physically there with your answering machine and retrieve your messages. You can now call your answering machine and listen to your messages. And it’s becoming more personal nowadays that you can actually have someone answer and give your callers instructions.
